The Traffic Office is responsible for maintaining and developing Stockholm's public spaces to ensure they are safe, attractive, accessible, and sustainable. Your role
As a safety coordinator focusing on preparedness, you will play a central role in the Traffic Office's preparedness work. You will collaborate closely with other employees in the safety organization. The role has an important task of developing the Traffic Office's internal work on all aspects of preparedness together with the employees. Your assignment will be to support, coordinate, initiate, educate, and follow up on the preparedness work at the Traffic Office.
Your tasks will include:
- Participating in and developing the systematic preparedness work – including risk and vulnerability analyses, continuity management, training, and collaboration.
- Planning, developing, and coordinating the administration's work with civil preparedness and crisis management organization.
- Participating in the work to develop the administration's war organization with associated total defense activities.
- Planning and leading safety and crisis management exercises as well as other training and information initiatives that strengthen the administration's preparedness.
- Collaboration with other administrations and external actors, where you represent the administration in various networks and collaborations.
- Writing consultation responses and service statements and contributing to city-wide projects within preparedness.
- Strategic work to develop, implement, and follow up on governing documents, routines, policies, and guidelines within the preparedness area.
Your qualifications and experience
We are looking for someone with:
- Experience in operational, tactical, and strategic work within the preparedness area.
- Higher education in security, risk, and crisis management or other relevant education/experience that the employer deems equivalent.
- Experience in developing governing documents within the preparedness area.
- Experience in developing training concepts and conducting training within the preparedness area.
- Experience working in a politically governed organization is an advantage.
- Experience in information security, physical security, personnel security, and security protection is an advantage.
